School Council introduce “The Golden Table”

In the autumn term, the school council were tasked with thinking about ways to improve our school. We decided to think about lunchtimes.

Using our “thinking” hats and the Hampshire “lunchtime toolkit”, we brainstormed lots of ideas for making our dining experience even better. We met with Mrs Culkin, our school cook and talked with some of our lunchtime supervisors about what background music they would like to listen to! We have picked a variety of genres including Motown, Northern Soul and Disney magic! Restaurant style good manners are rewarded with a raffle ticket. Every Friday, 3 peoples raffle tickets are picked and they get to dine at the Golden table. Joining them will be a different teacher each week and a special friend of their choice.
